While I (Road Trip Dog) nap in the cozy comfort of the author's office, the threads of the storyline are rapidly blending and/or ricocheting off the walls and it is a race to the finish. So last night after the author went to bed dreaming of Louise Brooks, I signed on to the computer (on the internet, no one knows that I'm really a dog). After reading the author's latest scribblings, I still have questions.
Does Lori secretly have the hots for Buster or is she just having fun?
Just what is the Santa Fe Railroad going to do about all this mayhem on their rails?
Will Danny really make the movie with Louise Brooks?
Will the Duesenberg Model X with the prototype supercharged 8 motor remain hidden in a barn in Kansas for Jay Leno to find decades later?
Can a Baldwin-made Pacific 4-6-2 Santa Fe Railroad locomotive go faster than 100 mph?
Finally, just who is the messenger boy? I thought I knew the answer, but then . . .
Oh well, as long as the author keeps enough kibble and a few tasty bits of meat in my bowl I'll be OK.
